The possibilities of modern vasoactive therapy for patients with a chronic cerebral ischemia

Object – assessment of clinical efficacy of vasoactive medications Vazonit and Vazoket combined application in complex therapy for patients with a chronic cerebral ischemia of I–II stage.
Methods and subjects. The examination of 133 patients with chronic cerebral ischemia of I–II stage was carried out. The disease manifestations were set according to standard criteria. Patients of a main group received hypotensive medications nootrops, B vitamins, Vazonit (60 mg daily 1/2 pill every 30min)and Vazoket (600 mg daily 1 pill in the morning). The control group was treated the same way but without vasoactive medications. Treatment duration was 12 weeks. Efficacy analysis was carried out according to method complex data in dynamics.
Results. Obtained results of clinical, functional and instrumental examinations evidenced more marked positive dynamics in main patients group.
Conclusions. Combined application of Vazonit and Vazoket is efficient as it influences the pathogenic mechanisms of chronic cerebral ischemia of I–II stage and improves treatment outcomes. It is confirmed by improved data of central and peripheral hemodynamics, bioelectrical cerebral activity, tissues metabolism optimization both in central and peripheral systems, regress of cephalic, vestibuloactive and astenic disease syndromes.
