Types and subtypes of hyperlipemia. Their correction at patients with atherosclerotic stenosis carotids
S.K. EVTUSHENKO, D.Sh. DYUBA, Yu.V. RODIN

Objective – studying the features of lipidic metabolism spectrum indicators at patients with significant atherosclerotic stenosis of carotids and an estimation of their dynamics under the influence of pathogenetic therapy.
Methods and subjects. 80 patients from the Institute of urgent and recovery surgery of V.K. Gusaka during the
period with 2003 for 2008 were examined. Patients were divided into two groups: 50 patients after surgery and
30 patients without surgery. Patients were clinically examined. The lipidic metabolism profile was studied in dynamics.
Results. Patients were divided into groups according to hyperlipemia type. Lipidic metabolism exchange
dynamics estimation was carried out in a group of patients with hyperlipemia IIb with the following indicators: general cholesterol, low density lipoproteins, triglycerides. In basic group the general cholesterol decreased for 12 months on 50 %, low density lipoproteins on 64 %, triglycerides on 60 %, in group of comparison general cholesterol for the same period decreased on 35 %, low density lipoproteins on 62 %, triglycerides on 49 %.
Conclusions. Carrying out сarotid endarterectomy in a combination with rationally picked up pathogenetic
therapy is effective modern secondary preventive maintenance of a stroke. Also we bring an attention to the question on necessity of subgroups hyperlipemia revealing for carrying out further pathogenetic therapy.

Ключові слова: atherosclerosis, сarotid endarterectomy, hyperlipemia, atorvastatin.
