The application of Giloba phytosomes in treatment of the patients with initial forms of chronic ischemia of brain

Objective – determination of Giloba phytosomes treatment efficacy of the patients with initial forms of chronic ischemia of brain.
Methods and subjects. 101 patients aged 30 to 50 (average age is (43.6 ± 4.8) with the diagnosis cerebral
ischemia of the 1st stage were examined. Patients of the 1st group (n = 74) were administered Giloba phytosomes therapy 1 capsule 3 times daily. Patients of the 2nd group (n = 27) were administered individual therapy. Control examination was carried out in 1 and in 3 months after the treatment. Clinical-functional examination included studying of neurological symptoms, headaches intensity by means of visual analogue scale and vegetative dysfunction degree by means of Vein scale. Cerebral hemodynamic state was estimated by means of rheoencephalography and ultrasound dopplerography.
Results. Regression of cerebral symptoms, mood improvement, slumber characteristics, cardiac pain elimination, decreasing of interhemispheric bloodstream asymmetry in all vessels basins, decreasing of cerebral vessel resistance, elimination of vessel headaches were observed after the Giloba phytosomes treatment.
Conclusions. The application of Giloba phytosomes in treatment of the patients with initial forms of chronic
ischemia of brain 1 capsule 3 times daily demonstrates regulative influence on cerebral hemodynamics: improves cerebral blood circulation, decreases venous dysfunction manifestations, increases bloodstream in all vessels basins, decreases interhemispheric bloodstream assymetry in all vessels basins and cerebral vessel resistance. Improvement of cerebral hemodynamics demonstrates harmonizing influence on vegetative provision, that leads to life quality improvement, activity and work abilities restoration.
